Music Ministry

Do you enjoy singing? Can you 'Make a Joyful Noise'? Colossians 3:16 [NLT] says to "Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts."
We are ordinary people with varying degrees of talent and training. When you sing with our choir, you won’t use only your voice - you will use your spiritual gifts and talents, heart, personality, and life experiences to make our Chancel Choir a unique body. The level of musical ability and training varies widely among our choir members, but our passion and desire to serve God is the same for all. No audition is necessary and no formal musical experience is required.
Chancel Choir:
We sing a mix of contemporary and traditional music.
Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:30, in the sanctuary. (Park in the grass lot behind the Sanctuary off E. Sessoms Ave; and enter through the back door.)
Sunday morning "warm-ups" are at 10:00 am in the Chapel.
Worship service is Sunday mornings at 10:30 am.

Bell Choir:
Have you ever wanted to play handbells? Or play any instrument in an ensemble/band/orchestra setting? Has anyone ever called you a Ding-a-Ling?

We have a 5-Octave set of Schulmerich Handbells. I would love to be able to start up our handbell choir again! We will need between 6 - 15 "ringers" to get started. No experience is necessary; the ability to read music is a plus, but not a requirement. You will learn to read a few notes as we progress. We would perform periodically for Sunday services, and in special concerts. Rehearsal times TBD.
